This sporting icon stepped into the spotlight after securing an unprecedented score, thus making her a celebrity and promoting the sport of gymnastics across all over the world. Women's perception of athletes also changed due to her performance. The impact she had was such that she earned her the title of Olympic toe on and release movements. The moves are classified as extremely difficult. In addition to the Olympics the gymnast showed remarkable results at her participation in the World Championships and European Championships and was subsequently the living legend of her time as well as one of the best-known gymnasts anyone could be privileged to.
