Her most well-known roles include her roles as Judy Kramer in Point Pleasant a 2005 series that aired on Fox and as Marcy Bender in Dawson's Creek. In the Guiding Light soap show, she appeared as Marina Cooper. This role brought her an award nomination from the Soap Opera Digest magazine in 2003, for the Outstanding newcomer. Dollar appeared as Cindy Thomas in the ABC program Women's Murder Club from 2007-2008. Dollar was a part of in the 2011 NBC Pilot Happy Valley but it was not picked up.
